Instructions | Shahi chana recipe: soak 240g of kabuli chana overnight and boil. Heat 5 tbsp. Of ghee/oil in a pan and fry 1 tsp. Of jeera. Add 2 tbsp. Of onion paste and fry till golden brown. Add 1 tbsp. Of ginger-garlic paste and fry well. Add 3 tbsp. Of chopped tomatoes, 3 tsp. Of Catch chana masala, 1 tsp. Of Catch red chilli powder and cook till masala leaves the ghee/oil. Add boiled kabuli chana and simmer for 15 mins. Add 60g (dices/ cubes) of paneer and 20g halved and roasted cashew nuts and cook for 5 mins. Before serving add 1 tsp. Catch garam masala, 1 tsp. Of lemon juice and check for seasoning. Serve hot, garnished with julienne of ginger and coriander leaves. |
